Try the stairway series on this site and look at the books list, many have a free downloadable pdf version. Other wise try the Microsoft Virtual Academy (MVA).

Long time since I ever saw Northwind let alone think about it, I believe the equivalent is the AdventureWorks database. Having said that my understanding is the products table records...

I would agree the mobile experience is not good, 50 percent of the screen is given up to white space so answering any question is impossible when the TSQL spreads...
