I agree with Journeyman. I would be looking for a requrements document. What access is required and when. Specailly with SOX these days.

One of the tables is sysusers in the user databases. I have not traced the id's to other tables for permissions, roles ect.

Full recovery mode means you can do "full" backups and then add log backups and incremental backups.
Full backup will backup your database and enough of the log file to recover...
