Dont move your master. You can't upgrade it to SQL2000 anyway. The users aren't a problem though. All you need to is script them out . Run the attached script...

The clue here may be more to do with the firewall config and the MTU settings. Try settings the MTU to 1404 to see if this helps. If you can...

Why do you want to do that?! Just dont. You wouldn't have two servers with the same IP address. Better to be able to distinguish.

Thanks, but we aren't using AWE on any of our servers. The pages referenced do not provide any information releating the issues seen. Maybe its just me.....but I doubt it!
