You're right William...hum...that's strange...hey, wait: all versions of Vista (except for Starter Ed.)support the SQL 2K5 engine...but how about the other stuff needed for Reporting Services?

I think you'll need another version for Vista. I got a Vista Entreprise based laptop (1GB RAM, Intel Centrino Duo processor) and all of the SQL 2K5 features work fine.
