Have re-installed SP2
and now all is working as should be.
WOW.. So simple.

No I did not install any service pack after installing RS
We already have SP2 installed.
Is it worth re-installing SP2?
The current build is 9.00.3068.00SP2Standard Edition

You have the memory available and assuming you not running any other applications on the server I would be tempted to assign a fixed memory amount of 2GB to each...

The only errors i see is:
SQL Server could not spawn process_loginread thread.

Thanks for the advise but I already have work arounds, and infact if i do a select * from View from a query window then all works but it does...

I have recreated the view as an administrator but it still times out with errors
Again if ran under a particular account it runs fine.
But we need this run under all...

I should have said.
On the SQL server we have also updated to oracle 10g Client
But no drivers was installed and I remember reading somewhere that 10g drivers also...

Think I will have to remove the trigger for now and get the developers to look into this.
