i used the same device for whole yesterday. but i did clean it with INIT option sometime.
i tested it from scratch today.
so, if i use a brand new device...

i guess it was a holiday yesterday (11.11). it suppose not working.

In the case of the null able fields have blank, tab, line feed or even carriage return and a ' ' characters, the following code may be help:

It's a fact.
I had experienced the same trouble last year. We called the Microsoft helpdesk for trouble shooting and it ended up with switching back to SP1 from SP2 Sql2000....

another solution : convert the date/time into second by reference to a fixed date
example : datediff(ss,@yourdate, getdate())
