I have a gut feeling that one node didn't get upgraded. Look at this technet article and reapply the SP1

You can't remove the load balancing if you want your app to pull from ether server. In an active/active mode you basicly have two sql servers with two diffrent names...

Check your HBA's and your nic setup. I can't imagine a SAN setup taking that long. Did IBM set the cluster up or one of your local admins?

no that isn't normal at all. My cluster fails over in about 15 seconds. can you describe your hardware/software setup to us?

I get the fixed drives data and dump it into a temp table I dont' select just one drive. I'll see if I can replicate your error.
