Allen, If upgrade SQL2k standard to ENT on Win2k Advanced server, is it the same procedure with the new installation on changing the switches /3GB/PAE in boot.ini?

If SQL was assigned 8GB, apps 3G, OS 1G, total I need for the server is 12GB, is 1GB enough for Win2k Advanced server?

Finally, where to check if the 8GB memory is being used by SQL server? if 8GB memory is assigned to SQL server, I think another 2 or 3GB is needed...

Allen, I never knew it is complicated, I thought is as simple as the following statement to enable AWE on SQL server.

Page Faults is the counter for Memory. I've checked the memory usage, it is OK.

I dropped the account and create it again by using following, it appears same error message.

It appears that Total Server memory(KB) is 12040, Target Server memory(KB) is 854248. What does it mean?

is the total of cntr_value suppose to be a memory usage of SQL server ? what's unit, byte or k?

He reinstalled it twice and got a same problem, I think that the associated SPs are supposed to apply on the PC, but I don't know which SP is required...
