Hi! I was trying to execute a server side trace but It just doesn't create the trace file.
I followed this tutorial:

I get no error but the physical file...

Thanks for the answer. I'm afraid that It could kill the server for long and it's a production server. I wouldn't like to knock down the entire system for 2...

So the only way to be 100% sure that no data will be corrupted because an error during the execution of a script is A GOOD BACKUP...
