Let me bring everyone up-to-date.  I bought a dell Core 2 Duo, the E6600 (4MB L2 Cache,2.4GHz,1066 FSB) .  It will be a week or so before Dell ships...

CIn enterprise manager go to the item beloe SQL Server Group, it has the name of you SQL Server (possibly local).  Right click, Edit SQL Server Registration.

Unlclick show system databases...

Would I be better off on that database just changing the recovery method from full to simple?

That works great  ... I just realized they send dates weird also.  I can get:

You probably need to use the UNC and share name to make it work.

\\192.168.0.xxx\C\YourDirectory\YourFile\

or

\\192.168.0.xxx\C$\YourDirectory\YourFile\

etc

I had a problem.  The directory had the $ sign on it for sharing.

\\server\C\myfile.txt

\\server\C$\myfile.txt

I tested this with 10 users using UPDLOCK and there were no duplicates pulled.  Thanks again, looks like it works well.
