I usually just use the ola scripts for a backup of a bunch of databases as to the restores

I use a powershell script for the restore/refreshing.  Fairly bulletproof...

what is the fill factor of the index?
are there any gaps in the identity data?
are there any triggers or procedures that might be running and modifying data at...
