As a thumb rule , on a dedicated SQL server we allocate 75% of the total memory to SQL and the rest 25% would be taken by the OS.

Try connecting by specifying the port no of the named instance
e.g. gpdev-01\test1,<port no>

Have you renamed any of the referenced databases ?
You can script the job and check all the databases references to see if everything is ok.
