I think you won't get any results in SSMS....u ll get only the package is successful or not...you can enable logging if you want to know these details...

okay... In that case the users need to connect to the remote server using remote desktop connection (they should be on the same network). then they can run the ssis...

I don't think we can run an ssis package with out the installation of sql server and ssis on local or remote...

Thanks for the replies.....actually that query access the view which is formed by the unions....so we can't index the view with unions...so we changed our plan and built the new...
