The subscriber can't have the data at all. In testing, transactional replication does appear to handle it correctly (albeit limited testing). I have considered going down the snapshot...

Sorry, getting confused here.... replciation handles it... too many test servers, and lookign at the wrong database 🙂

Personally, we've standardised on the Company Initials then SP.
Hence ACLSP - we can instantly determine our SPs from other vendors SPs in one database if third party...

I've used transactional where ever possible. However, I am using Snaphot in one case - our database is duplicated to SQLBase. SQLBase ODBC drivers just don't support Transactional!...

Thx, I was a bit concerned at performance hit, but in the context I use it in, I don't need to worry in that case.
