I added the parameters at the container level
then went ahead and added them in the parameter mapping of the execute sql task
The parameter name is User::ProdDB
I set the newparameter name...

Best case scenario would be to dynamically create the tables from Sybase to SQL Server and populate them.

I am not sure about SQL 2000 in 2005, I don't believe the Transaction log is automatically truncated when you do a backup, you have to physically shrink it.

view any database had been revoked by a script we ran to tighten security, that's is what did it.
