HI

I can connect SSMS by windows account, it works.

No problem in windows domain account,

I can connect Via SQLCMD by SQL account, it works.

But problem is i could not connect...

SQL port 1433 is listening on, but getting password did not match, even i given correct password in SSMS .

i guess problem may be SSMS corrupted.

Still i am not get correct way to resolve. i guess ssms got corrupted.

Her my problems is , SQL user can connect from other remote sql SSMS without any issue.

Local server i can connect via SQLCMD command promt the same sql user works...

The problem faced after VM ESX host changed , I can login via SQLCMD command prompt the same password. it works.

may be profile corrupted or anything

password is correct, because i can connect through SQLCMD tool.

Only problem in connecting via SSMS.

Error:

Login Failed for user 'APP' Reason Password did not matche that for the login provided

Error No : 18456 : Serverity 14 State 8

CU 8 cumaltive updates 8

SQL SERVER patches, not windows.

same system how much time will take of deatch and attach option for 7 TB database ?

we have 7TB database is running sql 2000 ,so need to migrate 2005 , as they requested 30 min time enough for migration this db...

you said , impossible .....

its hotfix.

Any settings need to be do on Model database ?
