- took a new FULL backup of the primary database
- restore this to the 2ndary database (with standby option)
- delete ALL .trn file on...

Pls check if the Sql service account in secondary server has sufficient permissions to the shared folder in which the log backup is being copied to inorder to perform restoration...check...

there is nothing like default
it remembers the last back up you did on that database whether it was a .bak or .trn
You can find out whcih is correct one by...

data -->other sources
-->sql server
-->new connection
write t sql script there
execute, the excel would be filled with the result
of the t sql specified..
