like database size,user connections,implementation of high availability mechanism...

you used the system keword while renaming the table thus it is not possible to revert,script out the exisitng table,create new table and import data.

Compressed backup file is a OS physical file which is restore normally like any backup file while restoring database, there is no such a thing like uncompress backup file.
