It is my understanding that is a best-practice. To have multiple data files which are the same size. Performance should be better, right?

I am having the same results in Idera and the culprit is VMWare. I am just starting my research on this and am very interested if you find anything out.

Let me provide an example:

Ticket# = 001

Status='Open'

Assignment A='Closed'

Assignment B='Open' --that's fine. Not interested in this ticket

Ticket# = 002

Status='Open'

Assignment A='Closed'

Assignment B='Closed'
