what is the size of the db that you are backing up and what other things are there on F drive ?

if you want the backup to happen only at 11:00 and than directly at 3:00 PM you need to create two schedules for mp rather than one.

Try this using ssms
go to mangement- mp
Right click on maintenance plan - new maintenance plan
Give name to mp
On left hand side, under mp tasks select backup task
in dialog box...

create dedicated logins to be used for linked server configuration. Use that logins to map sql user logins and it will work fine.
