None that i know of, I've actually seen a huge improvement using win 08 and sql 08.

I had the same issue on one of my VM's i was testing 08 on awhile back, you should be able to run Repair feature of setup through the SQL...

The .net 3.5 sp1 is a preq for 2008, you could try to install .net 3.5 sp1 before running the sql set up.

I've seen that before, I would just remove it as a dependency, take the node offline then re-add as dependency then bring it back online, if this a production environment...

You would have to change the store proc's related to those jobs, which isnt recommended. If you do that I would suggest a testing server... or you could use SQL...
