I would also love to see the contents of the post to be included in the email.

That would definitely be a bonus since I...

  • RE: More, More, More

Just thought I'd add my two pence's worth...

I have to agree with what has been said already, the site is a great resource and I don't think I'd use any...

  • RE: BI Jobs

Just one more suggestion - might be worth looking into some open source work / contract work (rent-a-coder, elance, etc) if you can, seen as you are not currently working...

  • RE: Hacked - what's the best way to restore?

I may be way off base here, but it looks to me like some sort of ad bot automatically posting responses/comments to a blog or something similar, and it's turned...

  • RE: !! Online SQL Server ??

You could try to find some free/cheap hosting which includes MS SQL server - depending on the configuration, at least some form of 'playing' should be possible.

Re Jack's point on triggers - watch out for a forthcoming article on generic triggers, which will (hopefully) address some of the business layer/database logging debate.

    PS - this will be...

  • RE: The Wild Fringes of SQL Server Development

I agree with Blandry - to be considered anything more that an averagely good developer more is needed that knowledge about your subject area. There is a need for a...

  • RE: The Wild Fringes of SQL Server Development

Well... great editorial, I'm surprised it didn't spark off more comments!!

From a personal point of view, I use Nhibernate/Active Record an awful lot, so would fall under the 'Dumb Database'...

  • RE: Bachelors degree - Who has one, or even more education?

Just to add to what has already been said...

This is an actual quote from my boss, who was talking to a recruitment agency yesterday about a new developer:

    "I'm not too...

  • RE: Bachelors degree - Who has one, or even more education?

    Hi Cory,

I'm just adding to what has already been said, but here goes...

  • RE: Trading Application

Sorry, just re-read the pos and saw that it is a web application!
