I know this is an old thread but I still like to share what I use for searching multiple .dtsx files at once.

I use a free text editor called Notepad++....

I have similar situation but it doesn't take 24 hours for my ETL process of converting 3+ M records to finish. It takes my ETL pross less than 2 hours....
