Thank you again for looking at this.  The new process seemed to work, but it wouldn't stop running.  After 6 minutes, I killed the process and looked at the PagesInDoc field...

Hey,  I found this link that had an interesting proc.  You could change it up a bit to work for you...

Usage:

EXEC master.dbo.write_to_file @sqlErr,@errFile ,0  --Where @sqlErr is a

varchar...
