Touchwood i havnt had any problems running against 2008 yet (using ssrs2008).

When im working between two dates in SSRS I tend to use:

Between @startdate AND @enddate

which has worked a treat...

I think this may be because you are trying to base your report on a value that does not exist until it has generated. A way round these kind...
