You will find that option on the Properties of the Services.
Under 'General' properties you can set 'Start UpType' to 'Automatic'....
for recovery u can follow below steps:
Rightclick on the properties...

Hi,
As per the error message it is unable to find an object which it refers. Have you made sure weather all the objects are available which the package uses.

hi pals,
Is there any other way of fixing this issue other than taking backup in local drive... ....
currently each time this job fails we are deleting all the exisitng backups...

Most of the cases it might be permission issue. Even mine hte same and got resolved after that.

Hi all,
We do have the same issue .... even it persists still....
1. We used to backup of the DB's without enabling Full text catalogs service in our server.
