I had tried number of ways with row number and CTE...but never thought of adding '/' between parent and child sortorder field...I was trying addition, simple concatenation.

I have been monitoring some metrics and Pages/Sec value is very high constantly. I think Pages/sec value means number of pages read from Disk per sec and high value...

Just would like to add here - Memory:Pages/Sec counter value is constantly at 100 along with very high CPU utilization.
Could that be only issue of badly written queries or hardware...

Thanks for the query. Yes, there is a column "SerialNumber" which can uniquely identiy the items within Salesorder. I think that can be used.
