  • RE: T SQL

    What a lot of complainers!

If everybody who had posted came up with a question of their own I bet we'd have some really good questions. And they'd all be...

  • RE: T SQL

    Darn.

I should know better than to bother with questions where I struggle to read the options!

  • RE: Create Database

I don't dare submit a question - I'd hate to be on the receiving end of all these complaints! :w00t:

And besides, the only questions I can think of are ones...

  • RE: Create Database

Mine wasn't a complaint - merely an observation.

Sometimes these can actually spark off a really interesting discussion.

I don't, however, have much patience once the same observation has been made over...

  • RE: Grow Your Network - Come to the PASS Summit!

Seattle is a long way to go when you're based in the UK.

  • RE: SELECT FUN

My belief was that as a consequence of the union removing duplicates, the output always came out ordered. Possibly not if you end up with several worker processes doing...

  • RE: Identity puzzle

    Nice question

  • RE: Administering SQL 2000 with SQL 2008 client tools

OK, so I've installed Management Studio for 2008 side by side with the SQL 2000 install - so I can still use that on my old server. Out of...

  • RE: Administering SQL 2000 with SQL 2008 client tools

    Brilliant - thanks.

  • RE: Complicated Comments

In SQL 2000 Query Analyzer it formats the text as if PRINT '7' will happen, and yet it doesn't when you execute it. They must have updated things a...

  • RE: Complicated Comments

    Nice question.

What a counterintuitive way this behaves!

  • RE: T-SQL

Maybe we should start having questions phrased - "what is the most interesting answer..."?

    😉
