During the testing I used the T drive. Afterwards I changed the final destination on another server over the network and I made the changes as you have indicated.

The old server has database using 2780 MB.
The new server only has 745 MB.
Configure info on the old server/new:

I did not do a detach/reattach. I create the database in SQL2000 and did a recovery from a backup.
