ok, was able to get the watch list up. now things are working. One problem was, I only designated read/write variables, not readonly. It was blowing...

Thank you. I am setting breakpoints. How do I look at a variable value when I hit a breakpoint, besides debug.print.
The variables list is not changing.

Thank you. The only way I know to examine user variables during debugging is via Debug.Print. Is there a smarter way to do this?

Not sure why or how, but one of the techs in Scotland looked at the table, noticed 3 indexs were fragmented > 95%, reindexed them, and it started working.

How could I tell what process was kicked off by me right clicking on the database name, selecting Tasks, then selecting Export Data. Is that Task Manager?

That window is closed, so nothing available at bottom of screen. I'll check the processes and see if anything looks familiar.

Well, you don't have to blindly hit the delete button. 😀
Make sure the connection manager is not used when you delete it. Documentation can help in that regard.

If I wanted to remove all existing connections and rebuild them, is there a process for doing this so I don't end up with orphans again?

So you just have to be careful and know your own packages 🙂
Unfortunately I'm "newer" to SSIS, and dealing with other people's packages (in part), but also my own.
