With the new narrower format, I end up scrolling forever.

I have a wide screen monitor so why waste all the screen real estate with white space?

In reality aren't you concerned about ALL of the things you mentioned (Performance, Reliability, Security, Legal, Data independence). Why are people and companies so eager to give away their data?

I do in fact. Computer programming has been a hobby since 1982, and a career since 1988. My compiler/assembler has been my favorite toy all these years.:-)
