Thank you for your replay,I found the problem, msxml is downloaded before and can not be deleted so I downloaded windows cleaner I removed the msxml and reinstall it again...

no we have one SQL server ,actually i downloaded the patch but it still have same problem with the maintanant plan....and the version of the SQL server still same not...

Actually in our system we use the SQl server to store the spatial data (geodatabase) , so clients are using the ArcEditor (ESRI product) to connect to the SQL server........

Yes of course I can make aback up by R.Clicking on the backup device very easy..... and I recreate the maintain plan for backing up and using the backup device...
