They do have different ports assigned.
Principle: TCP://CompName:5022
Mirrored: TCP://CompName:5023
Even then I get the error.
I am using 2005 and I am working on Win7. If that will make any difference.

Actually I am not in the network. I am working on a Single home PC. When I started the sql server browser service. I was able to login using TCP/IP....

Yeah I did that to. After changing the location in catalogue I did change the files physically. Still the problem exists. I am not able to get the db back...
