Syslogd_Data.mdf and Syslogd_Log.ldf on my E:\SQL\MSSQL\Data\ hence the script is looking onto the Syslogd*.* and it did work since at least 4 months .

Nothing has changed at all since the last few months, not even updates.

DB files attached, exported to new SQL 2008 DB and now vCenter upgrade kicking and running.

There shouldn't be a problem with the version difference. Have you tried it, though? That's the best way of finding out. It will depend on...
