  • RE: SQL Mail error with Outlook 2003 client

We encountered the same error on a server using outlook 2003.

This is due to the use of Outlook 2003 as the mail client. Outlook was configured to...

  • RE: Headers,Footers and data

    Didn't work.

I had a global variable populated with code called by a text box in the data region.  It populated "Record x" in the variable  and a call to that variable...

  • RE: Date prompts

A simpler suggestion may be to replace the date parameter with a string parameter, pass that to the sql which would converting it with a CONVERT function.

    In fact a...

  • RE: Transformation Report ?

Thanks for the reply. The VBS file appears to be pure object1 = <column1> and column2 = object1 kind of stuff, so its not a clear mapping...

  • RE: Transformation Report ?

No that's not what I asked for.

    I'll probably...

  • RE: Making xp_sendmail behave like Outlook

  • RE: reading transaction logs

    This command....

    DBCC LOG (DBID/DBNAME, Type = 1/2/3/4)

...I can't seem to find it in BOL. What is the BOL topic if it exists, or is there any other...

  • RE: unused space in db of SQL server 2000

Thank you, that's a good tip to know, using profiler.

My question is, is there a simpler workaround to defrag blob extents that doesn't involve exporting data & dropping tables? Will...

  • RE: unused space in db of SQL server 2000

With respect to that MS support note about blob extents being fragmented, would it help to shrink in Ent Manager with the "Move pages to beginning of file" check-box...

  • RE: SQL Mail attachments and Unicode

    Thank you . That's a perfect solution.

I've only now become aware that the @attachments parameter in xp_sendmail allows you not only to specify an existing file...

  • RE: Using image files in SQL

Worked OK for me so far, using this batch file

    textcopy /Sserv1 /D "[cowden limited]" /Umwd /Psmeg /Tpl /Cbody_word /W"WHERE plkey = 'B0001' " /Franges.doc /II

    ...where body_word is an image...
