Yes I'm able to connect to AS with the SQL Service acct. apparently SQL Server has not been restarted since the account change and its now working since a reboot...

thanks guys it was down to the service account not refreshed after changing it. So a reboot simply refreshed all the services and it worked. thanks again.

one more thing i noticed is the 1st step of the job (loading) succeeds and the user that owns the dts package belongs to domain A but the 2nd step (Process)...
