Yes - the second who should read not in. I know there are logins that are not users of that database. I would like to get the list.

I run most of my databases in simple recovery mode, but still occasionally have problems with the logs getting pretty full. I use this to dump the log:
dump transaction dbname...

We are using a Windows 2000 Active Directroy login for the service account and user accounts.
Using Named Pipes the end user can connnect fine.

I changed the client configuration to use Named Pipes instead of TCP/IP and it goes through. I will have to see if that works for the end user.

It does work with a SQL login. A reboot didn't help.

Make sure the .mdf is where it is expected with the name that is expected. Then stop and restart the service.
