1) Fragmentation less than 30%. Reorg.
2) Fragmentation greater than 30% Rebuild.
3) If the table has got less than 8 pages don't take any action....

Apart from being smaller than uncompressed backups what are the other benefits of compressed back-ups?Are there any risks of doing compressed backups only?

OK, just keep in mind that the above script returns the data file size only so if you need the database file itself (data+log) you would need to write something...

I like Mike's CSV solution a lot better but in case you need to go the dynamic way this should be a starting point;
