GUIs can be problematic. As mentioned above the only reliably efficient way to perform a lot of Tasks is to use TSQL. It takes time but produces the required results...

I am assuming reading into the question that you have an Azure-based VM.....
Is your pagefile there on C:? Have you set MAX MEMORY sensibly in the instance?
