You should check the logs with the exact error: i.e C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\LOG\Hotfix\Redist9_Hotfix_KB955706_sqlncli.msi.log and so on.
It looks like you have missing or corrupted files in the C:\windows\installer...

If you have installed Integration Services on the server, you can connect to the instance and export them and the import them in the other server.

Typically, you solve this by checking in the log the msp file that the installer is looking for and copying the msp file from the latest patch (uncompressing the .exe)...

Hi Eric,
The patches are cumulative, so after you install the latest security update, you server has now all the fixes, including CU4,CU5 and the latest hotfix.

For more information, it seems you have a corrupted or missing file in c:\windows\installer that the package is looking for, check for more info...
