Edge Browser has an "Immersive Reader" button option available on most web pages that does more or less exactly what you asked.

Same in MS Edge. Noticed this has happened before with some articles, to read it I just copied and pasted whole lot into a VSCode new untitled plain text tab.

Even a complicated manual task performed rarely can be helped by automation as this has the effect of "forcing" the author to properly document the process (well it should do!).

There is also a version that allows for exceptions such as names with apostrophes etc. here:

Just a thought, I saw an article a while ago but can't remember where, that says basically if you are using the 32 bit version of Office on a 64...
