Check your server scheduled jobs. My guess is that someone created a windows scheduled job to do this.

Please try this, it has worked for me.
1. Backup your database
2. Set your database to simple
3. Shrink your database
4. Set your database back to full
5. Backup your database

You also need to select db_denydatawriter along with public, db_datareader. It will work by doing this.
