Issue was resolved by after updating to SP2 and applying CU15. sys.dm_db_index_physical_stats behaving correctly now.

I use Spotlight on SQL from Quest - great tool.
I've also got Log Explorer (don't use it as much as I thought I would)

amackay_1 is correct. If you need to install SQL server on Win2k Professional, use the Personal Edition. It's on the 2nd CD.

That was a good thought but the table doesn't approach the maximum row size.
I can't even increase the size of the coulumn by 1.
