Thanks but somehow i dont see any instance under my registry. it shows only as
HEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\80. any idea where i am going wrong??

Does that mean it overrides the property of Not for Replication when turned on that column which has a PK. then whats the use of not for replication.

Yes i do understand not for replication is only for identity columns and i do have ID set as identity column . I dont want it to be updated at subscriber...

Yes theres only 1 table on thsi filegroup on both sourec and destination. I am trying a dbcc updateusage to see if that makes any difference.
any other thoughts/ideas??

Surprisingly the source server (in replication) has more rows but space usage is more on destination server. also can you please explain a bit more on

My whole point of the question is i know how to create a cursor for checking servers but beacuse an insert happens within a ditributed transaction it fails. any solution...

Thats how the database is designed initially. query works fine but not for last 2 rows how can those be updated if data matches in both tables.

I dont have awe enabled on node 1. The 2nd instance of sql is installed only coupel of days ago so has only teh system database nothing else running on...
