This property is just the name of each step (usually each step is associated with the task) of your package.

When you say DTS Script are you talking about VB Script in in one or more steps of your package - are they content of a text property of the...

What are you actually mofifying ?

Do you physically add more fileds to the tables referenced as source and/or destination?

or may be you modify the the transform object with adding...

I have created and regularly use the package which basically consists of one DDQ Task - as source I just use EXCEL file (you can make it anything you like)...
