Check the Table owner and try to drop it will fully qualified path e.g. tempdb.ownername.tablename

No idea why this happens.

But to resolve this, Click on view and choose anything but taskpad(e.g. icons etc.) and then change it back to taskpad. Will work fine.

I guess it was a bad install. I reinstalled and works fine now.

In Index, type the one I mentioned above gave me wrong results. Such as search for

INSERT, INSERT (described) gives int, bigint, smallint, and tinyint

Index for GRANT, GRANT (described) gives GROUP...

What is this method of connecting to OLAP? I though only way you can have it on internet is either through 3rd Party tool or through Pivot Table controls.

Apply SP3 on 2000 machine. Update statistics, full text catalog if you use them and rebuild all the indexes. Should work fine.

Yes, Job worked fine before this and no changes were made. In fact I got this error when I didn't even use job to take the backup/restore DB.

Does Your client and you have same verison of Enterprise Manager on your clinet machines? DTS acts strange with different verison of EM on different machines.
