How did you run Deny command?
Remember, Deny has to be run on individual objects. ALL won't work. I have tried that myself and just like you it didn't work...

Right clikc on server in EM on your server machine and check registration properties. Either use SQL user with enough privileges or use yourself (windows authenitcation) if you have permission...

I agree with some other people here, that I prefer getting rid of this cube and get something new. Cylinder (to represent Database) is one idea.

I ran xp_stopmail and xp_startmail as per your advice,sswords. And it worked!!..I am able to run all of those xp_sendmail again.
