Long shot but for your SourceDirectory parameter did you put a / on the end? If so, can you remove it?

Hi. Yes. We basically copy the latest backup from azure storage. Restore it and run check dB against it.

We are finding it very cost effective and even more so once the Archive tier comes into play. More cost effective than a NAS / File Server, backups are off...

I would say a VM with SQL Server would be the best option and probably the easiest as it should cover off all your requirements (SSRS, SSIS & SSAS)

Azure Data Factory V2 which is currently in preview apparently allows SSIS packages to run. We have not tried it yet as we are waiting for managed instances to come...
