I had the same issue. Turns out MS SQL 2012,MS SQL 2014 and MS SQL 2016 does not like to work side by side. I had 2012 and 2016 installed...

Hi, I had the same problem. Managed to fix it with the installation of SQL 2005 Sp4.

Once you started the project you can make use of SQL to link the DB to an access front end. It will make your life so much easier!

It is Microsoft Access...Try MS Access project... A lot safer!

Did you have a SQL 2008 installation on the pc prior to installing SQL 2005?
