As per the question, it was mentioned that "Developed and tested using SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2"; so why don`t we use the new features available from SQL Server 2008...

I know that "Database Engine Tuning Advisor" is used for Index recommendations, but unfortunately never used the shortcut for it before :w00t:

For me, I am always using % in LIKE statements, although there is a minor difference which is:
% means 0 or more characters in this position.
_ means 1 character only...
